Last year, BHHS Legacy Foundation was proud to award a $75,000 grant to Local First Arizona for their Community Kitchens program—and seeing the ripple effect of that investment is inspiring.

From helping local food entrepreneurs launch their dreams to teaching families how to cook healthy meals with confidence, these spaces are proof that a lot of heart can fit into 2,500 square feet.

Thank you, Local First Arizona, for nourishing both our neighbors and our local economy!

Last week, our amazing staff rolled up their sleeves to volunteer at the Phoenix VA Health Care System for the Veggies for Veterans event!

Alongside the incredible team at Gregory's Fresh Marketarket, we helped distribute 600 bags of fresh, nutritious produce to our local Veterans. This initiative doesn't just deliver fresh food—it delivers dignity, wellness, and care to those who served.

Huge thanks to all the veterans, volunteers, and community partners who made the day so meaningful!

From a simple shoebox of donations to a national model for medical respite, our partnership with Circle the City and Sister Adele O’Sullivan has transformed care for those experiencing homelessness.

In 2024 alone, this mission served 8,000+ patients. See how we’re building a healthier community in our 25th Anniversary Report: bhhslegacy.org/#flipbook-df_3393/7/
