Peppers, potatoes, bananas - You name it, and it was probably inside the bags of free produce 600 veterans got at the Phoenix VA recently.

Strong leadership builds stronger communities. Today, we are celebrating the 12-year tenure of Gene D’Adamo (left), President & CEO of Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust, ahead of his retirement in early 2027. Gene’s steady vision has lifted so many across Arizona and Indiana.

We also want to give a huge congratulations to Jeff Small (right), who will be stepping into the President & CEO role in 2027. Jeff’s longstanding dedication to the nonprofit sector makes him the perfect leader to carry this vital work forward. Thank you, Gene, and congratulations, Jeff!

Summer should be a time of fun and growth, but for many families, it can also bring extra worry about keeping the kitchen pantry stocked.

We are thrilled to share that the Arizona Department of Education's SUN Bucks program is back to lend a helping hand! This initiative provides $120 per eligible child to help families buy nutritious food during the summer months when school meals aren't available.

Already enrolled in free/reduced meals? Great news! Your child is automatically signed up—no extra paperwork needed.

Need to apply? If your situation has changed or you haven't applied yet this school year, you can still sign up!

Don't wait! Visit azed.gov/SUNBucks to check your eligibility and apply before the August 3 deadline. azfoodbanks.org/sun-bucks/
