Tri-State Legacy Office at the Mohave Community College Allied Health Sciences Building II

Who We Are

BHHS Legacy Foundation was funded from the sale of Baptist Hospitals and Health Systems in 2000 so that proceeds from this transaction would continue to help those in the areas these facilities serve—Greater Phoenix and the Tri-State region. Legacy Connection (the parent organization) and the Foundation are affiliated Arizona 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit public charities.

Legacy Connection and BHHS Legacy Foundation have a shared mission and vision to maintain their history of healthcare service by helping community organizations improve the health and quality of life of citizens in need. To date, both the Foundation and Legacy Connection have invested more than $130 million to highly effective nonprofit projects, programs, and organizations that provide care and services to the underserved in the community.

Both Legacy Foundation and Legacy Connection work in the Greater Phoenix area and the northern Tri-State region, including Bullhead City, Fort Mohave, and Topock in Arizona, as well as Laughlin, Nevada, and Needles, California, to bring about long-lasting improvements to the safety and success of children, families, and seniors, as well as the communities where they live.
