Inspiring Educators grant gives 38 Tri-state teachers chance to improve classrooms

Thirty-eight Tri-state educators received the 2025 Inspiring Educators grant from the BHHS Legacy Foundation this month, receiving between $500 and $2,500 for their classroom projects and needs.

BULLHEAD CITY — Thirty-eight educators from throughout the Tri-state area will be expanding educational opportunities in their classrooms courtesy of the 2025 Inspiring Educators grant from the BHHS Legacy Foundation.

Amy Nelson of Mohave Accelerated Elementary School said she was astonished to be chosen for the $2,500 first place grant prize — five times as much funding as she had expected.
