Who We Fund
To be eligible for funding from BHHS Legacy Foundation, organizations must demonstrate:
- A community health or health-related funding need or cause that is consistent with the Foundation's charitable mission and vision.
- A current tax-exempt, nonprofit status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and public charity nonprofit foundation status under Section 509(a)(1) or (2) of the Internal Revenue Code, or State of Arizona or political subdivision status.
- Activity within some or all of the Foundation's community service areas, which include the metropolitan Phoenix region with an emphasis on central and western Phoenix, and the greater Tri-State region in western Mohave County (includes Bullhead City, Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley and Topock, AZ, Laughlin, NV, and Needles, CA).
