Grant Information
BHHS Legacy Foundation funds efforts that enhance and improve the quality of life and health of children, families and senior citizens that are primarily low-income and underserved in the greater Phoenix and Tri-State regions. We do not fund organizations serving other Arizona communities, with the exception of projects and programs that are part of a statewide effort.
The Foundation places a high priority on collaborative projects and programs with other foundations, government agencies and nonprofit entities seeking to strengthen communities and support systemic change in healthcare access, health improvement and delivery. We also place a strong emphasis on funding nonprofit community organizations to increase their capacity to serve. These may include projects and programs offered by established nonprofit entities as well as those provided by start-up nonprofit organizations.
Grant awards are announced three times per year - typically in January, May and September.
